The internet is flooded with advice on achieving success. Every day, you encounter different perspectives. However, when it comes to realizing your dreams, few emphasize the importance of doing what feels effortless.

The mind is designed to seek comfort, and it will resist any task that feels challenging. Therefore, it’s crucial to engage in activities that come naturally to you. This brings us to a pivotal question:

What activity makes you feel alive?

In other words, what is something that feels less like work to you? Identifying this is key to your success. When you engage in something that doesn’t feel laborious, your mind is less likely to resist. Personally, I find joy in educating others through writing and speaking. What about you? Discovering this passion is vital; without it, achieving success will be challenging.

This is why incorporating entertainment into your life is crucial for achieving your objectives.

Are you so entrenched in hustle culture that you neglect to have fun? If so, it may hinder your progress toward your goals. Your brain seeks comfort and will resist discomfort. Hence, it’s essential to allow yourself moments of enjoyment.

Before engaging in strenuous tasks, I prioritize fun activities. This approach prevents my brain from resisting work, as I’ve first satisfied its desire for comfort.

Many individuals wonder why, despite having deep desires, they struggle to take action and achieve their goals. As mentioned, this stems from the ongoing conflict between your heart and mind. Until you find a way to navigate this tension, you’ll continue to face challenges in pursuing success.
