Understanding the Concept of Comfort Zones
Your life often feels like a series of repetitive events, but you have the power to change that.

Have you noticed a pattern where you consistently attract similar situations or relationships? The cycle of recurring experiences can lead to a mix of happiness and frustration. This cycle represents your comfort zone, where you may find yourself stuck. If you don't make any changes, you could remain in this repetitive cycle for the rest of your life.
However, there is a path to break free and embrace new experiences that you've yet to encounter—such as improved finances, better friendships, and personal growth.
The Significance of the Wheel of Life
It’s important to understand that the concept of the wheel is not new. Originating from Buddhist teachings, it symbolizes the cyclical nature of life, so much so that it's even featured in India's national flag:

Recognizing the significance of this concept is crucial for your journey of self-improvement.
Defining Your Comfort Zone
Buddhism posits that life is a continuous cycle of similar events. It’s a space where your mind and body naturally gravitate, requiring minimal effort to remain within it. If you’ve consistently achieved the same grades in school or encountered similar dynamics in relationships, it’s no coincidence. In Western culture, we often refer to this space as our comfort zone—the activities that require little effort from us.
To evaluate whether your life cycle brings you joy, consider this question: How expansive is your wheel?
To gauge your happiness, reflect on the duration between your moments of joy and sadness. A larger cycle indicates greater happiness. Conversely, if you find yourself joyful in the morning and deeply unhappy by afternoon, it may signal an underlying issue.

Now you understand the reason behind your inability to alter your circumstances: You are ensnared in a wheel! The experiences you currently face will continue to recur throughout your life. But there is a method to transform your wheel and invite more joy into your life.
The Challenge of Change
Have you ever wondered why only a few people achieve all their desires in life? The answer lies in the discomfort that comes with stepping outside your comfort zone.
The primary reason you remain stuck in a cycle is that it feels safe and familiar. When you revert to old habits, you experience no discomfort. Therefore, breaking free from your patterns to transform your life is akin to a journey to the moon: it requires overcoming gravitational pull through significant effort, and yes, it can be painful.
Consider this: the discomfort you experience when trying to focus on building a business while being addicted to TikTok is a perfect analogy. Every time you set your phone aside to concentrate on work, your mind may rebel, urging you to return to the familiar comfort of scrolling through social media. If you can resist that pull, you've already won a significant battle.
Yet, be prepared for the initial discomfort; it’s a natural part of the process. Over time, however, this discomfort will lessen.

Conclusion: Breaking the Cycle
A more fulfilling life awaits you when you break free from your wheel—by enduring the discomfort of altering your habits and adopting new behaviors. Because this journey often involves suffering and going against your instincts, it’s no surprise that many shy away from it. Yet, if you avoid discomfort altogether, you'll remain trapped in the same cycle.
It's time to break the wheel and become a better version of yourself.
