Caffeine Chronicles: Embracing Coffee and Daily Life

Coffee Confessions
Ah, it seems I’ve returned to my habitual caffeine indulgence. Unfortunately, tea just doesn't cut it for me. On the bright side, coffee brings me joy, and surprisingly, I've been sleeping better lately. I doubt coffee was ever the core issue, but today isn't the day to delve into my current existential musings. Instead, I’ll share my daily schedule and plans.
It's Memorial Day weekend, and our gathering is set for tonight. Last night, I prepared a generous bowl of macaroni salad, and I may have indulged in two servings when no one was watching. Additionally, I'm in charge of the burger buns, which I took out of the freezer last night, and they should be thawed by now.
With a light drizzle outside, we might need to forgo the grill for the burgers, which means frying them on the stove is a likely scenario. That’s perfectly fine; I’ll handle it without any complaints.
After a brief cooking hiatus, I’m back to preparing meals daily, largely due to my current financial constraints. Fortunately, the kitchen is tidy, leaving me free to tackle whatever tasks lie ahead, though I haven’t set a specific agenda. I expected to prep for the party, but everything is already sorted.
I think I'll continue organizing the garage and perhaps dedicate some time to tidying up the living room. Physically, I'm feeling a tad better, so I might take the dog for a walk to the mailbox or just around the block. It’s been several days since either of us has gone out.
Looking ahead to tomorrow, I plan to work since I’m feeling decent and need to earn some income. For dinner tonight, we’ll have burgers, macaroni salad, and whatever my boyfriend's parents and oldest son bring along. My daughter is in charge of the drinks.
Party Preparations
As the day unfolds, I’ll focus on the final touches for tonight’s gathering.
