Chapter 1: Exploring Cybersecurity

This month, my focus is on understanding the mindset of cybercriminals while examining the landscape of vulnerabilities — all with ethical hacking in mind. I aim to upgrade my digital skills and stay informed about the latest cybersecurity developments. Given the delays caused by the pandemic, I plan to accelerate my learning by working on a small project that integrates both Python and AI.

In this endeavor, I'll be collaborating with my digital assistants, Marty and Dave, as I navigate through the realm of cybersecurity.

Objectives for This Month

1. Engage with industry experts and learn from their experiences.
2. Update my knowledge on recent techniques and tools — it's been a while.
3. Explore potential privacy concerns and threats associated with Windows 11, which I have recently upgraded to.
4. Undertake a crash course in encryption, including methods to bypass it and strategies for risk mitigation.
5. Master defenses against phishing, SMShing, vishing, and other social engineering threats to better protect those vulnerable to scams.

The motivation behind this learning journey is simple: I work in the digital field and want to enhance my cybersecurity skills, not only for professional reasons but also to safeguard my friends and family against various threats.

Reviving Python Skills

This month, I also intend to refresh my Python programming abilities, which I primarily use for robotics.

Chapter 2: A Year of Skill Development

To better my cognitive health, I'm committing to learning 12 distinct skills over the next year, ranging from automation and AI with Python to investing, learning Chinese, and even crocheting.
